Q. Shapeoko 3D milling machine specifications
Hey guys, I see you've got a Shapeoko 3D milling machine on its way to the libraries Maker space, due for assembly on the 19th this month, but I have a few questions about it and its usage. For one, is the kit you’ve acquired a Shapeoko original or Shapeoko 2? Secondly, the default cutting dimensions are 298mm x 301mm x54mm. There are options available for expanding this default size, have you done so? I’m interested in bringing in a CAD file eventually for machining a guitar, but I don’t know that the default system is large enough to support this, and I may have to take it somewhere else. Thanks!
