Sending an email usually requires establishing an email account with an email provider first.

If you haven't established an email account here are a few (but by no means all of the companies that provide free email accounts).

I'm going to provide some links below to the pages where one can establish a free email account:

Yahoo!

Use this link to establish a Yahoo.com mail account.  Just click on the button titled "Create New Account

https://login.yahoo.com/config/login_verify2?.intl=us&.src=ym

Gmail

Use this link to establish a gmail.com account.

https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?service=mail&passive=true&rm=false&continue=http://mail.google.com/mail/&scc=1&ltmpl=default&ltmplcache=2

Use the button to create the "Create An Account" button.

Hotmail

Use this link to establish a hotmail.com account

https://login.live.com/login.srf?wa=wsignin1.0&rpsnv=11&ct=1324341660&rver=6.1.6206.0&wp=MBI&wreply=http:%2F%2Fmail.live.com%2F&lc=1033&id=64855&mkt=en-us&cbcxt=mai&snsc=1

Hotmail accounts require a Windows Live ID.  Click the  "Don't have a windows ID? "Sign up"" button at that page.

If you already have an established email account and are experiencing trouble sending emails from it, please give us a call at (225) 231-3750.  Although we will not be able to help you if there is a technical issue, most of us can describe how to use free email accounts

Hope that helps!
