We're not really sure what you mean, so we'll try to cover all of the angles here.

If you would like to pay for a book that's been lost or damaged, please give us a call at 225-231-3740.  We can tell you the cost of the book and/or any additional fines you may owe.

If you would like to purchase a book from our collection, this is not a possibility. Although we do sell books that have been discarded or damaged, the library does not sell books from our shelves.

If you would like to buy an ebook you have checked out through Overdrive, you can click on the "Buy this book" link on the book's details page to see which of Overdrive's retail partners are selling it.

Most hard-copy books in our collection can be purchased at book stores or via the internet.  Most of the bookstores in town will special order books that they do not have in stock for you at no extra cost. You can also visit one of the local used bookstores to discuss purchasing a title that is out of print.
