We have a variety of resources you may be interested in! Two books that may be of interest are

"Freedom Facts and Firsts: 400 Years of the African American Civil Rights Movement" (323.119 F853.5s)
"1999 Facts About Blacks: A Sourcebook of African American Accomplishment" by Raymond M. Corbin (032.02 C791o)

Please call (225) 231-3750 for locations.

We also have a Black History collection you may be interested in. These books are housed at the Main and Scotlandville branches; they usually don't circulate, but they're free for you to use within the library and you can make copies of whichever pages you need. We've got an InfoGuide on African American History Month Resources.

Lastly, I tried to find the "African American Legacy" trivia you had at the breakfast this morning, but didn't have any luck.

Hope this helps! Please call us at (225) 231-3750 if you have any further questions!
