Yes, art work can be checked out. You can browse what you see at library branches or if you know the title of a piece you are looking for you can search our library catalog. If you go to 'More Search Options' on the catalog you can limit your search to just art/sculptures. Paintings and sculptures check out for 6 weeks and may be renewed once; take a look at our borrowing policy for more information.
