Q. What do the checks and xs mean in the right hand column

On the library catalog if you see a green check in the column to the right of a title, that means that the item is available at one of the library branches. Click on the book title and scroll to the bottom of the page and you can see which location has a copy. If there is a red 'X', that means the item is checked out at all the branches. You can place a hold and get on the waiting list either by logging into the catalog with your library card and placing the hold or by calling us at 231-3750.
