If we notice that a book belongs to the State Library (and is not checked out to you via our Interlibrary Loan), we will still return it to the State Library for you. It may get back to them late, though, if it's due that day or the next.

Please be aware that we might not catch that it is a State Library-owned title and it could end up on our shelves, so you should call us just to make sure. Call the Circulation desk at the branch where you regularly return your books.
