Q. How Do I make resume

Our public computers with Microsoft Word have resume templates that you enter your information into. If you come to the Reference desk we can show you how to access them.

The Main Library also has a Career Center with resources on looking for jobs and preparing for interviews.

We also have a online database called Optimal Resume. It is really useful for creating a resume and allows you to store it online. It also will help you manage any interviews you schedule and it has skills assessment tools for you to use.  It's a great resource. You can access Optimal Resume from home through our Digital Library, all you need is a library card, or you can access it at the library.

We also have books that provide sample resumes and advice on how to create them.
