Our Mango language database does include Spanish. To get started go to our library homepage, select 'Online Databases' from the menu on the left (If you are outside the library you will need to enter your library card number.)and then choose Mango Languages from the database list on the next page.

There are two types of Spanish course, one is basic with 5 lesson modules, mostly aimed at teaching some conversational Spanish for a trip. The other is a complete course which offers 100 detailed lesson modules and is far more in-depth.

You can create an account in Mango so that your progress is saved each time. You can of course move backwards and forwards through the lessons as much as you like. During lessons you will read the words on the screen and hear them spoken by a narrator. There are also quizzes and lesson reviews.
