Q. Does EBRP Library ever have openings for part time librarians (with MLIS)?

Typically all our positions that require MLIS degrees are full-time. Part-time positions include Library Technician, Library Aide, and Library Page which can be either 1/2 time or quarter time (20 and 10 hours a week). Since all our hiring is done through Baton Rouge City-Parish Human Resources you'll need to check the Continuously Open Positions and Currently Open Positions - many library positions are continuously open, meaning you can submit an application at any time. You can write in how many hours a week you want to work (40, 20, or 10). However City Parish Human Resources does not accept applications during the month of December.
