To get a library card you will need to come in to a branch and show some identification and proof of address. It can't be done online. For more information, you can read our library cards and borrowing policy.
- The library should consider a program for non-residents and charge an annual fee. Great way to increase revenues!! Some libraries use this program.
- Hi there Joseph,
If you're an out of parish resident you can actually apply for a card (For Free)! It just needs to be one of our neighboring parishes:
3. East Feliciana
7. Pointe Coupee
8. St. Helena
9. St. Tammany
12. West Baton Rouge
13. West Feliciana
You can also apply for a card if you don't live in EBR parish but own property. To check out how head over to:http://www.ebrpl.com/LibraryServices/CardsandBorrowing.html
- How can someone who is confined to a nursing home obtain a library card?
- Hi Donna,
