Q. How many acres in Louisiana are considered marshland?

According to the Louisiana Office of Coastal Protection and Restoration, they estimate:

"Louisiana boasts more than 4 million acres of wetlands, representing 40% of the nation’s total.  These wetlands are among the world’s most diverse and productive ecosystems."
