Q. Where can i view microfilm of the morning advocate for the years 1955/1956

We have that Microfilm available to view and make copies from at the Main Library http://www.ebrpl.com/LocationsandHours/ebr.html

We also have the newspaper from that time period available online through our Baton Rouge Advocate and Times-Picayune Historical Archive, part of our Newsbank database. Currently you have to be inside the library to access that particular collection but it is more convenient to access than the microfilm. If you come in and ask at the Reference desk we will be glad to assist you.
