Q. where can i find empirical articles on the effects of positive role models on the African American male

Our main periodicals database where you would search is called EBSCOHost. To access it go to our homepage, select 'The Digital Library' and from the A-Z list choose EBSCOHost. I ran a search on African American role models and got some good relevant results. You can also click this link to go directly to EBSCO after entering your library card number.

If you go to the advanced search option, you can limit your search to articles that have the complete text. When you find an article, opening it up will show you the subject terms associated with it which is another useful way to similar articles.
