Q. I have reserved a book but don't need it anymore even though it's my turn to check it out. Is there a way I can "un-reserve" it online?
Once my reserved book is ready for me to pick up at the library the " 'un-reserve'/renew check box" dissappears. I would like to "un-reserve" "my" book (which is waiting for me to pick it up at the library) so the next person in the waiting line (and there are DOZENS of people!!!!) can get his turn.
If you log in to your account on the library catalog and then click on the link for 'My Holds' you should be able to cancel it from there. If not the other option is to call Circulation at 231-3740 and they can cancel it for you.
