Go to the catalog and click on the My Account/Renew button on the left side of the page. (You can also click the "Renew Books" link under the search bar at the top right of the library homepage; it will take you to the same window.)  Enter your library card number (no spaces, please) and your name code (the first 4 letters of your last name followed by the first 3 letters of your first name).

If you have less than 4 letters in either your last name or first name, or both, your password will consist of all of the letters of your last name (if it is less than 4 characters) plus all of the letters of your first name (if it less than 3 characters), still with no spaces in between.

If you do not have a card, it will be necessary for you to come in to an East Baton Rouge Parish Library branch in order to apply for a library card.  We require proof of current address and a current photo ID.  If you live out of parish, you can apply for a card under certain restrictions.

Please read our policy on library cards and borrowing for more information on how to get your library card.

If you have any further questions, or need someone to walk you through the login process, please give us a call at (225) 231-3750 or write back to us here.
