Q. how old do you have to be to get a library card

Anyone of any age can apply for a card. Adults over the age of 18 need merely to show a state or federal government-issued picture ID and proof of the applicant's current address.

For children under the age of 11, we require that a parent or legal guardian be present when a card is issued.
