Q. How do I recommend that the library purchase a book?

The East Baton Rouge Parish Public Library accepts recommendations for items to be added to our collection.  You can recommend that the library purchase things like movies, cds, books, audiobooks, and magazines by filling out a patron recommendation form.  Be sure to include as much information as possible about your recommendation. You'll also need to provide us with up-to-date contact information, so we can let you know about any purchasing decisions we make based upon your recommendation.

Patron recommendation requests for physical items are more or less unlimited.  If you are experiencing issues with the purchase request form, please contact our circulation department at 225-231-3740.

Purchase requests for e-books and e-audiobooks through Overdrive are limited to 5 per card, per month.
