When you click on a title in the catalog, it will bring you to the main page for that title. You can see the locations that have a copy of the book further down the page. A green check next to the location means that location has a copy of the book currently on the shelf; a red x means it is checked out from that branch.

If you want to pick up a book from a particular branch, you can always place a hold on the title and ask for it to be transferred there. If there are any copies checked in anywhere in the system, it should be ready for pickup at the branch you specify within a few days. You can do this either through our online catalog (click "Place Holds" on the left side of the screen from the main page of any item), or by calling the reference department at (225) 231-3750.

You can also call the reference desk of any branch if you want to find out whether or not a particular item is available there.
